Nelson & Rose was created in February 2010, when I started making handmade retro fabric cards from home. I'm originally a Perth girl and grew up living close to the beach. I moved to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in 2009. I was living in Sydney years ago, when I saw a beautiful leather beanbag at a retail store. It was really pricey and I decided that I could make one myself. I used my industrial sewing machine in 2010 to make my first leather beanbag. Nelson & Rose Leather Beanbags are made to order and I make them from home. My beanbag design is based on the cool, original beanbag style that many of us used to hang out on when we were kids. They fit well into any living area and are super soft and easy to care for. I use Melbourne based leather and upholstery suppliers. My beanbags and cards are proudly made in Australia.
